Now that I live on a wooded mountain in North Carolina, I find myself looking out for bears. I’m especially vigilant when the dogs start to yip or howl on our morning walks. Usually, they are reacting to a frisky squirrel scrambling up a tree. Whew! Then it occurred to me: Maybe the bears are looking out for us! I decided to draw a cute little cub as “The Lookout.” He’s way too small to hurt us, right? I just hope Mama isn’t close by! This artwork comes double-matted, framed, and ready to hang.
