This painting is part of my “Nature’s Patterns” series. It’s a magnification of an actual fish’s colorful patterns. As it evolved, I was reminded of the dark caverns beneath the ocean that offer protection and food sources for fish of all sizes and colors. And the “cave” in the pattern also reminded me of delving into my own life experiences — soul searching — for meaning. The original has been sold, but signed reproductions are available. It comes in a black and gold “floater” frame, wired and ready to hang.
